Real Estate Minute with Steve

  Wednesday, Mar 23, 2022

Good Morning and Happy Monday quick update with current market inventory, Were over the 9000 mark (9013) with 1639 selling sales are down I would contribute this to March break. We're staring to see an uptick with showings and offers being presented with a few of my listings selling. We're at a point when listing properties that the price and different price strategies need to be exercised to get a home sold, before taking any new listing this is an honest conversation I’m having with all my clients to make sure they have clear understanding of current market conditions.

Regarding further news that can impact the Real Estate market indirectly, Employees at CP Rail our officially on strike, (3,000 engineers, conductors and other train employees) Short answer why this will indirectly affect Real Estate the current inflation on products currently with a disruption to further goods entering the country this will drive prices further on all items, causing further Canadians to be striped of there savings and income.
