Is The Toronto Real Estate Market Crash Over? (July 2022)

This month the Bank of Canada slapped an unexpected 100 basis point increase to battle inflation. This resulted in the real estate prices in Toronto and surrounding areas to continue getting hurt. We did see some light at the end of the tunnel with one of our listings that sold over asking with multiple offers, but it seems to be a rarity based on location. We tried to use the same strategy on another listing of ours and it fell on deaf ears. It's tough to say, but I think prices will continue getting hurt until we stop raising interest rates.

In this video, I explain what I'm seeing across the Toronto real estate market and where I think we're heading.
